I use chain with anti-tarnish finishing for my plated jewelry. However, it is absolutely normal that plated jewelry will lose its original color over time. Please follow these simple care instructions to keep your items in a lovely condition for a long time.

- not recommended to be worn in shower
- use soft jewelry polishing cloth from time to time to prevent tarnishing

This anklet is beautiful, well made, and truly tarnish proof! I wanted to wait the full 3 months before submitting my review so that I could really wear it and test it out. I have not taken it off at all since I got it 3 months ago; I wear it nonstop. I sleep in it, I workout in it, I shower in it, and I've worn it twice in ocean water. It hasn't unclasped at all, it hasn't tarnished at all, and all of the beautiful stones are all in place. And my initial on the charm is a very cute bonus! I couldn't be happier with this gorgeous anklet!!
